Pro Am Events
Treat your most valued associates and clients to the experience of a lifetime as part of one of two Pro-am events held during tournament week. Each team will have the opportunity to play 18 holes with a FUTURES Tour Professional and be treated to first class hospitality and service.
The NKF Golf Classic Presented by Carter Broadcast Group. The Wednesday Pro-Am on May 14, 2008, is a qualifier for the National Kidney Foundation’s National Championship – which is played at Pebble Beach Golf Links. Your four team members must each have a verifiable USGA handicap and the team handicap total must fall within certain guidelines.

The Carter Broadcast Group Celebrity Pro-Am. The Thursday Pro-Am
on May 15, 2008, offers the
option of playing with a local celebrity and a Duramed FUTURES Tour pro. Teams
of three are paired with a celebrity and a pro, or you may choose to bring four
golfers and play with a Duramed FUTURES Tour professional and no celebrity.

The Course -
Leawood South Country Club
Leawood South Country Club is a private club facility in Leawood, Kansas. The course is 6,664 yards from the longest tees for a par of 71. Course rating is 72.1, slope rating of 129 with Zoysia fairways, bluegrass
and fescue rough and A4 Bent Grass greens. Designed by Bob Dunning, the Leawood South golf course opened in 1969, with extensive renovations in the last 3 years including new greens in 2005 and an irrigation system. Paul Hooser, PGA professional; Jim Naudet, superintendent.
Leawood South was a regular stop on the LPGA tour in the 1970s. Carol Mann won the first Southgate Open here in 1969; LPGA Hall of Fame member Kathy Whitworth won the event three times.
