Our History
 Leawood South Country Club, a course with a long history of supporting women’s golf, hosted the first Duramed FUTURES Tour Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Championship in May 2007. The 144 golfers compared the course to a major championship venue, and were impressed with Kansas City area weather and hospitality.

Our Charity
 The Mercedes-Benz of Kansas City Championship benefits the American Heart Association’s
GO RED for WOMEN.
Go Red For Women celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together to
wipe out heart disease and stroke. Thanks to the participation of millions of people across the
country, the color red and the red dress now stand for the ability all women have to improve
their heart health and live stronger longer lives.
